Florida publisher, Larry Dobbs, put it all on the line to launch Mustang Monthly and challenge the big guns at Petersen, Argus, and McMullen Publishing. In 1999, Dobbs would sell his operation to one of the very companies he competed with for many years - Petersen. This is why Mustang Monthly and Mustang & Fords are published by the same company today.
