Brake System Differential Pressure

Shown here is the brake-differential pressure-distribution block for dual-braking systems. Centered in the block is a sliding piston and light switch. If pressure is lost in one system, the piston is forced toward the disabled side by brake pressure, illuminating the "BRAKE" light on the instrument cluster. The light will go out when brakes are bled after the repair. View Related Article
