To check the bumpsteer yourself, make sure the car has a proper alignment. Remove the spring and shock, and unhook the sway bar from the lower control arm. You can make a simple ride-height gauge from a piece of scrap metal. On our test car, the ride height is 5.98 inches measured from the upper control arm near the rivet to the underside of the outer shock tower near the bumper. View Related Article
