11 Once you’ve completed drilling out the mounting holes, the two alignment bolts can be removed and the reinforcing plates positioned over the holes in the trunk area. Secure the crossmember by installing the 12 5⁄16-inch button head bolts through the crossmember, trunk floor, and reinforcing plate to sandwich the floor sheetmetal.
