21 Before installing the outer tie-rod ends, clamp a straight edge to each front brake disc and position the disc so that they measure out with a 1⁄8-inch of toe-in. Thread the outer tie-rod ends onto the rack, ensuring that the left and right ends are threaded the same number of threads until the tie-rod ends can be installed into the spindle eyes.
