At this point, you can use a spring compressor to remove the coil springs, or if you like a bit of risk, you can start to unbolt the upper control arm like we did. We secured the spring to the car, unbolted the control arm, and carefully pried the arm out. Our coils weren't under too much tension, but this may differ from vehicle to vehicle.
