On the backside are four drum housing retaining nuts that must be removed. With these nuts gone, the whole drum assembly can be removed from the spindle as a unit. On the other side of the vehicle we weren't as lucky, as two of the studs turned when we went to loosen the housing nut, forcing us to remove the drum and grab hold of the end of the stud with locking pliers.
