Once the axleshafts are removed, installation is cake. You have to decide where to position the calipers. We began with a caliper-mounting bracket; then axleshaft installation. We installed new bearings and seals for good measure. Slotted rotors stay cooler than smooth discs during hard braking. Slots carry away heat because they create more surface area. They also allow hot gasses to vent off to prevent brake fade.

Calipers must be shimmed and centered properly for safe operation. Shims locate and center the caliper to prevent tight spots. The Mustang Shop reformed the hard line directly to the caliper.
