A side-by-side comparison of the 31-spline slip-yoke shows us the factory yoke on the left and the Quick Release, CNC-machined steel forging from Inland Empire Driveline on the right.
For those of you running small-blocks, here is the 28-spline yoke with the factory piece on the right. To the left is the Quick Release forging.
These are pinion yokes (from left to right): aluminum, steel forging, and the factory cast-iron piece. Factory castings vary in length.
