11 The pads slide snuggly into the caliper. Wilwood includes shims to allow you to align the caliper and pads over the rotor for optimum pad placement. You simply add or remove the same amount of spacers from each stud to raise or lower the caliper as needed. Once the final optimum position has ben obtained, remove the caliper mounting bracket bolts one at a time, apply red Loctite theadlocker and torque them to 47 ft-lbs. You can then apply red Loctite to the caliper mounting stud threads, and torque the nuts to 35 ft-lbs. View Related Article
