Want to impress your friends? How about a Roush stroker small-block with eight-stack electronic fuel injection? This is but one of an array of small- and big-block custom crate engines from Roush Performance that can be ordered with a matching, modern overdrive automatic tranny, electronically calibrated to the buyer's shift preferences.

Another development mule is this '67 Mustang convertible--originally an S-code 390--with a 468ci Roush crate FE variant wearing dual quads and Cobra Jet-style valve covers. Of course, an introverted person could always make a Roush 468 or 511 look just like a factory 390.

On the small-block side, this is a 427SR (Roush's most popular crate engine) destined for use in a Cobra replica, and rated at 525 hp and 535 lb-ft. It's wearing yet another of the eight available valve cover styles, these being CNC-machined and wearing Roush billet wire looms to keep things orderly.

Perhaps you've heard of the 75th Anniversary Deuce, the modern celebration of the '32 Ford, limited to 100 copies and based around the all-steel Dearborn Deuce roadster body. The Deuce is powered by none other than a Roush crate combo, specifically a (Boss) 302-based 342-inch small-block with central-throttle-body injection, backed by a 4R70W. Note the A/C compressor and serpentine drive.
