Ensure the mounting brackets are seated flush with the top of the fender. A hammer and block of wood, or a rubber mallet, can be used to gently tap the brackets into place. Center-punch and drill the two holes for the additional mounting hardware. We started with a 1/8-inch bit and worked our way up to 3/8-inch for the holes. View Related Article
