5 About the only change we made to the stock Cleveland was to upgrade the cam. Not specifically a blower cam, the XE284H worked well on both our normally aspirated and supercharged configurations. The hydraulic flat-tappet XE284H offered a 0.584/0.588 split lift, a 240/246-degree split duration and a 110-degree lobe separation angle.
