[11] The EFI system uses a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor to determine engine load. The sensor is usually installed on the firewall, but can be mounted directly on the engine. A small bracket was fabricated to mount the MAP sensor right behind the TBI unit to hide it under the air cleaner. The MAP sensor will need a connection to manifold vacuum, as seen here.
