We're going with Fel-Pro steel core head gaskets with the pre-flattened copper fire rings (PN 1011-2) for the Raptor 427W, which provide excellent head-to-block sealing. Never use steel fire ring head gaskets because they will brinnel the soft aluminum head surfaces. Fire rings at each cylinder bore provide exceptional cylinder-head-to-block sealing with proper cylinder head torque and retorque.
