JBA Racing now offers small-block Ford 331 stroker engines designed to provide excellent horsepower and torque levels using the factory 289 or 302 block. The Stage 1 version uses carefully prepared factory parts to create an engine that is a great choice for your resto-mod project. The Stage 1 version is shown here being performance evaluated on the company's in-house engine dyno. Your engine is blueprinted, machined, and will be hand-built at the company's in-house facility in San Diego, California.
The Stage II 331 Ford stroker engine has become one of the company's most popular combinations for early model Mustangs and other Ford cars. Stage II and Stage III versions of this engine have produced more than 400 horsepower naturally aspirated. Prices start at $4,700 for long-block versions designed to produce 400 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque using a combination of factory and high-quality aftermarket components.
For customers wanting greater horsepower levels JBA also offers more aggressive cam profiles and several types of aftermarket cylinder heads. For a sturdier foundation a Dart block can be added. JBA performance engines are custom-tuned and dyno tested to each individual application to provide a very high level of performance and reliability.
