Eaton opted for Diamond forged pistons for his 375 “Y” with ceramic-coated domes and low friction skirts, along with a compression height of 1.000-inch, placing the wristpin in the oil ring area. This called for a support rail to keep oil ring flex to a minimum. Total Seal rings were 1.2 mm wide top and second with oil rings at 3.0 mm. The wristpin is 0.866-inch with a 9.0cc reverse dome to keep compression at 10.1:1. Dynamic compression is 8.0:1 with the camshaft 1 1/2-degrees advanced and valve lash at 0.025-inch hot.
