18 Summit Racing’s external fuel pump, SUM-G3138, features 5⁄16-inch inlet and outlet fittings and cushioned mounting clamps. It’ll feed up to 500hp EFI systems, making it perfect for our needs. Mounting of the pump must be below the level of the fuel tank, as electric fuel pumps need to be gravity fed. The inside of the right rear framerail proved to be the best location for this build.
