14 Moving under the car, it was time to tackle the fuel system. The Ranchero is unique in that it mounts the typical early Mustang/Falcon tank upside down. As you can see here, the fuel gauge sender/pickup is mounted in the middle of the tank and the typical fuel tank drain is in the far upper corner.
