1 Our engine bay required some light wet sanding with 220-grit paper, mainly to prep the already primed surface and to rid the panels of overspray from the exterior painting the month prior. The sanding was followed by back taping the fender edges and the cowl and then two coats of base and several coats of clear were applied, just like the exterior finish. View Related Article
