14 The Pypes instructions call for the X-style mid-pipe’s crossover to land approximately 8-12 inches behind the transmission, and ample tubing is provided to place the crossover where required. We cut down the X-style mid-pipe’s outlet tubes as needed and then added the inlet tube extensions. As you can see, we’re really close to the driver-side header, but the passenger-side is off some. Some additional trimming will be necessary and we opted to hit the local performance exhaust shop to do our final system welding/tweaking. View Related Article
