We needed to replace the driveshaft from our Continental Tire Presents Mustang360 Week to Wicked S197 Mustang and there was only one choice for us – GForce Performance Engineering.

Since we’re planning to flat foot the loud pedal at select venues, we wanted to make sure we swapped out the heavy two-piece steel unit for a GForce Performance Engineering 3½-inch aluminum driveshaft. These feature a one-piece 6061-T6 aluminum construction, weighs around 7 pounds lighter than the factory counterpart, and rated to 900 horsepower.

For those of you who compete in the standing mile events; the GForce Performance Engineering driveshafts are also rated up to 160 mph with no issues or vibrations. Can you take a guess at what we’re planning to do in the near future?
