Speaking of air deflectors, the late-model Mustang is considered a “bottom feeder”; meaning the majority of the cooling air through the radiator enters the bottom of the front fascia. Ford used a horizontally mounted air deflector to help route the air up into the radiator for proper cooling. If this deflector is missing due to poor parking habits or accident damage, your Mustang isn’t getting all the air it should through the radiator.
