With renderings floating around a while back, it kept us on our toes when this bad boy would debut. After waiting for the rendering to come to life, the prototype made an appearance at Knott’s Ford Show in Southern California. After the sighting a few months back, folks can now get excited about the mean Saleen 351 hitting the production line. Already pre-orders have been hitting the Saleen shop since the prototype made its official debut…

“The amount of detail that we had to put in this vehicle is astounding”, said “I feel our team has struck the perfect balance of design, technology, and [of course] power."

This new Saleen creation will generate 700 horsepower with 655 ft-lb of torque from the supercharged 351-cubic-inch V-8 packed under the hood. That’s even more than the super popular Shelby GT500, which puts out 650+ horses out of its 5.8-liter V-8. The color for the new Saleen is called Orange County Orange and was developed specifically for the 351 model by Saleen.

If interested, the Saleen 351 comes in either a hardtop or convertible, and you can order your new ride at Saleen dealers nationwide. Another option is to contact Steve Saleen directly for your personalized ordering needs at the nearest Saleen Authorized Dealership. More information can be found here at

Saleen Automotive, Inc. announced that the company completed a reverse merger with W270 Inc. to become a publicly traded entity on the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol “WSTY.” More info about the announcement and other Saleen investor news can be found right here.
