Fore! Strange Engineering is taking on a new sport to raise money for charity. They are taking on the golf course and one lucky person will have the chance to play with the two current point leaders in the NHRA Top Fuel and Funny Car racing divisions, Shawn Langdon and Matt Hagan as well as Napa Funny Car Crew Chief, Rahn Tobler. Practice your golf game for the Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament, which is an event near and dear to Strange Engineering.

The auction is being held on eBay and the top bidder will get a full day of golf at the tournament with green fees, t-shirt, and lunch provided. The Strange Engineering crew will also play eighteen holes during the tournament as well: Jeff Strange (President of Strange Engineering), Tracey Strange (wife of founder, Robert Strange), JC Cascio (Manager of Sales), and Allison Steinkamp (Strange’s Social Media Coordinator).

Following the tournament, the winner and a guest will also get tickets to enjoy the full weekend at “The Big Go” (aka the NHRA U.S. Nationals) at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with some special up-close privileged viewing of the track, access to the Strange bus/lounge, as well as some special Strange apparel.

Don Schumacher Racing donated two passes to their hospitality on Monday’s race day for the winner of the golf package. This includes an insider view of the pit area where the Top Fuel and Funny Car crews perform their magic. All proceeds from this eBay auction will benefit the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital located in Indianapolis.

The auction started last Friday and ends this Sunday. So go here and get your bid on!
