Pioneer Offers Pandora Service With More Than 20 In-Dash Receivers
If you wanna stream Pandora on your car stereo, Pioneer has some head units that will make that happen. Check out the official words after the jump...
Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc., the first manufacturer to bring Pandora internet radio into the vehicle, is now helping consumers enjoy the service in their vehicles – commercial free!
More than 20 Pioneer in-dash receivers, with suggested retail prices starting at $90, offer built-in Pandora control, providing users full control and playback of the Pandora app through a compatible iPhone® or Android™ smartphone device.
Simply launch the Pandora app on the device and connect to a compatible Pioneer car stereo via a hardwired connection or Bluetooth® streaming to receive commercial-free listening through the end of 2013.
Pandora is personalized internet radio that is designed to help consumers discover new music by using music they already know. With Pioneer’s car stereos, consumers can enjoy superior sound quality and full control of the Pandora experience directly from the receiver’s control panel or touchscreen display.
Users can "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," bookmark a song for later purchase, switch among personalized radio stations, and view full track data.
Hardwired connection requires optional iPhone or Android cable kit (sold separately).
