An officially-licensed 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe body shell is now available for purchase through Ford’s restoration parts program. As seen at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, enthusiasts can now own their very own 5-Window Coupe – a car that symbolizes post-World War II in America.

"With the 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe body shell, you can literally build a classic-looking hot rod, ordering Ford restoration parts right from your computer, and avoid visiting a wrecking yard,” said Dennis Mondrach, restoration licensing manager, Ford Component Sales. “The coupe body shell joins our growing list of ready-to-build stamped steel body shells, including the classic 1965-70 Mustangs and 1940 Ford Coupe.”

The Ford restoration parts program offers over 9,000 licensed parts for Ford vehicles ranging from the Model T to the year 2007.

"Ford Racing can supply crate motors and performance products to suit any appetite,” said Mondrach. “Most of the parts needed to complete a build – including hardware, drivetrain, interior parts, even instruments with classic or customized faces – are available. You can build your car as a classic, or upgrade the components and build your own version of an icon that was part of the cruising culture in the 1950s and 1960s. You choose.”

This Ford 5-Window Coupe is made from brand-new metal complete with rust-preventative coating for additional protection against the elements.

The officially-licensed supplier, United Pacific Industries, manufactures every component to Ford Motor Company standards. A strict licensing process is set in place to make sure the parts that bear the company’s official trademarks live up to the standard and authenticity for Ford classic car enthusiasts.

To ensure that fit, function, and appearance is authentic as the original part, each and every approved part comes with a blue-and-white sticker complete with the Ford logo and states if it is an officially-licensed restoration part.

Other replacement parts supplied by Ford Component Sales include fenders, radiators, and badging. This means that car builders can spend less time searching for rare parts or wasting time in the junkyard looking for that exact part to complete their classic build.

Both the Mustang Club of America and Thunderbird Club of America give special recognition to the Ford licensing program for supplying components identical to OEM Ford parts.
