Be sure to watch the NHRA drag racing coverage on ESPN2 tonight and tomorrow to get a glimpse of the '14 Cobra Jet Mustang testing done by MM&FF editor Evan Smith.

Smith worked with the Ford Racing engineers and technicians during a recent test of the latest CJ. During that test, Smith wheeled the CJ to impressive performances and into some wild wheelstands, one which lasted almost 300 feet. The CJ is designed for NHRA Stock and Super Stock competition and should make it to the coverage of this weekend's NHRA Nationals in Topeka, Kansas on ESPN2's Qualifying show tonight at 6:00 and tomorrow on the Eliminations show at 8:00 pm. Look for exciting footage of the CJ as it tears up the track.

The CJ is powered by the Coyote 5.0 engine and wears Boss 302 heads and a FRPP Supercharger. It's backed by a 3-speed transmission and will run with the current crop of AAA/Stock vehicles, which turn times in the 8s at more than 150 mph!
