Mustang fanatics looking for a turn-key road course racer are a lucky bunch as the Boss 302S is a fantastic option, suited for many uses and ready to provide load of fun.

"In preparation for the 2013 racing season, Ford Racing is hard at work building the 2013 Mustang Boss 302S. The Mustang Boss 302S is designed for ''print' road racing events, and is legal to run in the World Challenge GTS class, NASA American Iron, and NASA ST2 Class," says our source at Ford Racing.

At MSRP of $85,000.00 it's not cheap, but you get a lot of race car for your dollars. Since its reintroduction to wheel-to-wheel racing in 2011 the Boss 302S has won the following accolades:

  • 2011 World Challenge GTS Manufacturers Championship
  • 2011 World Challenge GTS Driver Championship
  • 2011 World Challenge GTS Team Championship
  • 2012 NASA American Iron Championship and NASA ST2 Championship

Colors for 2013 include Performance White and School Bus Yellow.

Sure you could build a dedicated racer for less, but this pony comes with all new parts, plus, the R&D has been handled for you, so you don’t have to waste time worrying about which engine builder to use, or which suspension and brakes to buy. The Boss 302S comes painted, and with all the racing hardware needed to get on track immediately. This allows you to be competitive right out of the gate so you can find you way quickly to the winner’s circle.
