Tasca Ford & Factory Five Racing to Deliver New '33 Hot Rods!
Two great names in motorsports team up!
WAREHAM, MA - September 1, 2010 - Factory Five Racing and Tasca Ford announce a joint manufacturing effort in New England. Under the agreement, Factory Five Racing will be the select chassis and body supplier of '33 Hot Rod component cars to Tasca Ford. The Tasca name has a rich history in Ford performance for over 45 years and Tasca's Mod Shop will be building the Factory Five cars as complete rollers.
The cars will come completely assembled and painted (less engine & transmission). Custom paint jobs will also be available. Vehicles can be purchased directly from Tasca Ford in Cranston, Rhode Island, or from Factory Five Racing, in Wareham, MA.
The new program and professionally-built cars will be unveiled at the 13th Annual Tasca-Mustang and Ford show this coming Sept 11, 2010, at Tasca Ford in Cranston, RI and at the 2010 SEMA show in Las Vegas this coming November.
"This program brings together two great New England companies. Tasca's legendary history with Ford and their unquestioned racing/automotive expertise is a perfect match for our modern engineering and performance-based chassis designs. It is such an honor to bring manufacturing jobs to New England and to do so with an exciting and global-reaching product like our new '33 Hot Rod built with the professionals at Tasca Ford.
Dave Smith, President Factory Five Racing
"We are excited to be building custom Hot Rods right here in New England. This has been an idea that David Smith (President of Factory Five) and I have talked about for the last year. I was so impressed the first time I got to tour Factory Five. It is a first class operation and they build the best '33 Hot Rod chassis package on the market. They have been very successful selling these cars in "build-it-yourself" packages. It only made sense to offer the Hot Rod as a complete roller with the skills that we have at the Tasca Mod Shop. This new program will allow Hot Rod enthusiasts all over the world, who may not be comfortable assembling the car on their own, the option of getting a professionally-built custom car at a great price."
