Do you remember the red and gold-schemed Holman & Moody TdF Mustang from the 2012 SEMA show? Considering that was about six months ago, we understand if it had slipped your mind, so here’s a refresher: production has started for the 2014 TdF Mustang Holman & Moody packages at the operation’s facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The inspiration behind the TdF package comes from a trio of Holman & Moody-equipped Mustang racecars that competed in the Tour de France Automobile Rally in ’64. With that in mind, the package mimics the bright red hue of the original race-prepped Mustangs and also includes performance upgrades from Ford Racing that boost power and further tune the suspension.

Fully adjustable front and rear sway bars unique to Holman & Moody are part of the package deal. You can also expect bigger brakes, upgraded radiator, a limited-slip rear, and a modest boost in horsepower. Creature comforts include the addition of Holman & Moody embroidered Recaro seats.

If you’re interested in adding the TdF package to your Mustang, the base package price starts at $9,896, on top of the cost of any new 2014 Ford Mustang. Production will be limited to only 500 units, so better hurry and secure your spot in line.

There are a few different ways to go about getting the TdF package installed on your new Mustang. You can bring your post-title 2014 Mustang to a Ford dealership, take it to Holman & Moody’s headquarters in Charlotte, or buy a completed 2014 TdF Mustang direct from the company.
