We all know that the Boss 302 is retiring after 2013, but one brand-new Boss will be running the track for one more year, the 2014 Boss 302S.

Orders can be placed currently through Ford Racing for the new 2014 Boss 302S, and will be produced for drivers competing in various SCCA and NASA classes. Those wanting to compete in the Grand-Am Continental Challenge Series can look forward to a Boss 302R in the works by Ford Racing for the 2014 model year.

The base price of the Boss 302S starts at $89,995 with production scheduled for the end of the year. Just 50 cars in total will hit the production line, so these will definitely hold some collector value as well.

The 302S will be available with the 5.0L V-8 Boss racing engine using custom fuel and cooling systems, a Tremec six-speed manual transmission, 3.73 gears, adjustable suspension, and a Torsen rear differential. The wheels are 19-inch, hiding four-piston Brembo brakes, and the interior features a six-point roll cage.

Not many changes are available for the new Boss 302S except that it can now be ordered in Grabber Blue with no additional charge. If you want to order the car in Satin Black, expect to pay an extra $5,995. Other than that, the car’s standard color is Performance White.

New options include BBS wheels for a price of $2,410, seam welding for $4,500, and larger Recaro seats for an extra $700.
