The crew at GTR High Performance in Rancho Cucamonga, California (www.gtrhipo.com), never ceases to amaze us with its deep client base of bone-stock, '79-'93 Mustang owners.

This super-clean, super-stock Fox was recently at the shop to have a neat package of chassis upgrades installed...

Adding subframe connectors is the much-preached-about chassis improvement for all 5.0, 4.6 (and even 5.4-powered) 1979-2004 Mustangs.

When aggressive driving is in your Pony's future, further-improving; "tying" its uni-body chassis together, with such items as a roll bar or a cage, and braces that make its understructure stiffer, oftentimes proves to be the best move.

The 'Stangbanger who owns this Fox is part of GTR's growing contingent of autocross/"track day" participants, and while the drivetrain in his ride is largely OEM right now, he's definitely making the right moves for the future.

A super-clean, Fox coupe. We want this car!
