At the Roush Speed Shop, Tony from Roush Performance gives us a little insight on the introductory package 2014 Roush RS Mustang built on the V6 platform in this video below. This RS package adds the Roush flavor, some great performance and handling, and incredible style to Roush’s first V6 Mustang. You read that right – the new Roush ‘Stang features Ford’s 3.7-liter V6 engine capable of 305 horsepower that maintains 31 miles per gallon on the highway.

One of the biggest things about the Roush RS is the R6 Aero-body kit, which features Roush upper and lower high-flow grilles, a front fascia chin splitter, side rocker splitters, and a rear decklid spoiler. There’s no denying that this is a Roush vehicle with the windshield banner and badging on the front grille and rear decklid.

\In the suspension department, progressive rate lowering springs were added, dropping this beast approximately an inch all around. With the springs installed, the center of gravity changes, giving this RS quicker steering and improved handling, according to Roush

Some of the optional goodies available include a Roush hood scoop, quarter window louvers, a graphics package available in six different colors, and the choice between five different wheels ranging from 18- to 20-inches.

Inside, Roush embroidered floor mats grace the floor, along with billet pedal covers and a Roush center console badge. The interior includes two leather seating packages, different shifter handles, sill plates, a suede steering wheel and a rear seat delete kit featuring an x-brace.

If you’re looking for that perfect Mustang that turns heads and gets great gas mileage thanks to the 3.7L, no need to look any further. With so many customizable options, this is sure to bring some style to your daily driver while saving you a few bucks in gas!
