Every year as part of the Mustang mecca that is Mustang Week, we get together with Pro Dyno to host the Battle at the Beach dyno competition. Simply put, we pit Mustangs featuring different engine combinations and power adders against each other on the dyno to see who comes out on top. We try to have a mix of different combinations, body styles, colors, and the like so everyone can identify with a particular car. Plus, who wants to see the same colors and combinations on the Pro Dyno portable Dynojet all morning?! We don’t, we like a little variety, and we think you do, too.

For the past few years, the Battle at the Beach has taken place at different venues during Mustang Week. It’s been at the mall, and last year the dragstrip, but for 2018 the MM&FF Pro Dyno Battle at the Beach will take place at Myrtle Beach Speedway as part of the BFGoodrich Track Day. Specifically, the MM&FF Pro Dyno Battle at the Beach will take place Wednesday September 5, 2018 from 9AM to 1PM.

Austin Holley’s Armageddon Turbo Systems’ twin-turbocharged 2013 Boss 302 won the 2017 MM&FF Pro Dyno Battle at the Beach by putting down over 850 horsepower at the wheels. If your Mustang makes that, and then some, or something close to that, we want to hear from you. If your Mustang is ready to do battle, then drop us an email at battleatthebeach2018@gmail.com and be sure to include the complete details, including several photos of your ride. We look forward to hearing from you!
