Heading into the third day of the 2017 SEMA show we were finally able to make our way through the massive crowds to go see our friends at TMI Products. Of course it helped we hit their booth the moment the show opened today to get a jump start on the crowds that seem to get bigger and bigger as the week goes on.

TMI is well known for its line of direct replacement reproduction upholstery for the classic Mustang and the Fox-era cars as well and have been making great strides with its line of custom Sport, Sport R, and associated pieces like door panels, headliners, dash pads, and more.

The latest from TMI Products is this Grand Sport-A seat, available in manual and power seat track configurations.
A detailed look at the control panel situated on the side of the seat shows power recline, power fore and aft, and an optional power lumbar (seat heaters are an option as well).

Its performance seating line, which launched a year or so ago, has grown as well, offering more options, trim choices, and even a drop in price we were told this year. These are complete, ready to install seats, and not just upholstery you install as they’ve offered in years past.

However, the biggest news is the launch of TMI’s first ever power seat—the Grand Sport-A. The Grand Sport-A is a fully sculpted seat with sport-inspired bolsters that will keep you in place but aren’t overly aggressive. The upholstery designs are almost endless and TMI tells us that even traditional Mustang seat upholstery and inserts can be utilized to build the seat to work with your Mustang’s existing upholstery. Of course if you want to go full custom TMI offers dash pads, door panels, and other trim pieces to build out a completely custom interior. The Grand Sport-A is also available in a manual seat track configuration as well.

Shown here is the Grand Sport in FXR trim level, so as you can see, if you can imagine it TMI Products can build it.
