Revology Cars to Debut New 1967 Shelby GT500 at SEMA #TENSEMA17
The replica manufacturer will soon be offering its version of the 1967 Shelby Mustang
Revology Cars has given us just a taste of what’s to come on Tuesday October 31, 2017 with the debut of its latest model, the fully Shelby-licensed 1967 Shelby GT500 at the 2017 SEMA show. This reveal is certain to be a treat for any Mustang or Shelby enthusiast this Halloween! Powered by a Roush Performance all-aluminum 5.0L Coyote V-8, including a Roush supercharger and dubbed the Roush 5.0L RSC, the engine is rated at 600hp and 475 lb-ft of torque! Naturally, the vehicle will be on display in the Roush Performance exhibit area.
Revology Cars president and founder, Tom Scarpello, says the ROUSH engine gives the Revology GT500 a power to weight ratio on par with a Ferrari 458. “This is the classic muscle car formula—an immensely powerful engine in a relatively lightweight car—taken to the next level,” says Scarpello. “It is not only fast, it also stops and turns like a sports car and is civilized enough to be driven daily.” Like all Revology Mustangs and Shelbys, the GT500 was designed to capture the spirit of the original car with modern performance, reliability, and comfort.
We’ll be on hand Tuesday when the covers come off so come back to Mustang-360 all week for more on the Revology Shelby GT500 and all of the great Fords and Mustangs at the 2017 SEMA show!
