By now every Ford enthusiast has “built” their 2017 Ford GT. Either in their heads or via Ford’s own Ford GT online configurator because, well, frankly the vast majority of us consider the new Ford GT nothing more than a pipe dream of unobtanium proportions. That said, true enthusiasts of Ford’s latest Supercar will no doubt be looking to pick up every model, toy, diecast, and collectible bit that they can related to the Ford GT.

Celebrating the anniversary of Ford’s historic victories at Le Mans, the 2017 Ford GT will be offered in a ‘66 Heritage Edition that honors the 1966 Ford GT40 Mark II driven to a stunning Le Mans win by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon, part of Ford’s 1-2-3 photo finish. This Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition features a Shadow Black or Matte Black top coat with silver stripes, #2 hood and door roundels in Frozen White, special gold finished wheels with black lug nuts, and exposed carbon fiber package.

The early prototype of the new Ford GT diecast from Acme Trading was recently displayed at the 2017 Nuremberg International Toy Fair.

Acme Trading Company has an exclusive 1:18 scale version of the ’66 Heritage Edition Ford GT coming May 2017 (PN US001, $149.95). The resin model, the first in Acme's new USA Exclusive Series, features the Shadow Black gloss finish with silver stripes and #2 roundel graphics in Frozen White, just like the real thing. Production of this resin model by GT Spirit for Acme Trading is limited to just 978 units and there are just a few left to purchase directly from Acme. You can also purchase from your favorite Acme dealer as well.

Also available will be a standard edition Ford GT (if you can even consider ANY Ford GT “standard”) in Shadow Black with silver stripes without the #2 roundels if you prefer a more stock look to your Ford GT resin model. This model (PN US001-B, $149.95) is also produced by GT Spirit for Acme Trading, will be limited to just 366 units, and can also be purchased directly from Acme or through its dealers. It too will be available in May 2017.
