Coming back to California’s Angel Stadium this weekend, August 14th, 2016, Nitto Tire is holding its 4th annual Auto Enthusiast Day. The free event is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes a car show, driving demos from Team Nitto drivers, a vendor midway, special raffle prizes and giveaways, and food trucks.

Nitto Tire’s Auto Enthusiast Day has become the must-attend event of the Southern California car show season. Since the event began in 2013 it has grown to bring some of the best show cars, more vendors, more spectators, and more thrilling driving demos from Nitto’s roster of professional drivers. Continuing this trend of growth, the 2016 event has even more in store for enthusiasts as Nitto pulls out all the stops to create the ultimate automotive experience for the over 12,500 people expected to be in attendance.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. is one of Nitto’s team drivers for Formula Drift and loves to work the crowd wherever he is.
Nitto isn’t just street and drag radial car tires. Nitto is a big player in the truck and off-road market, and you will see demos of Ultra4 drivers at the Nitto Auto Enthusiast Day

“Auto Enthusiast Day is something we look forward to every year,” said Harry Kong, Brand Publishing Events and Motorsports for Nitto Tire. “It’s unlike any other event on the calendar and it’s as much fun for us to attend as it is to put on. Nitto is a company that is ‘Fueled by Enthusiasts’ and we feel that it is extremely important for us to give back to the community that has supported us since the beginning.”

No matter where your automotive passions lie, there is going to be something at Auto Enthusiast Day for you. Much as in previous years, there will be a huge car show for clubs and enthusiasts to show off their lovingly modified, customized, or restored vehicles; incredible driving demonstrations by the ultratalented Team Nitto drivers Vaughn Gittin Jr., Alex Heilbrunn, Matt Powers, Loren Healy, and Jason Blanton; a vendor midway; and raffle giveaways for prizes ranging from apparel to a ride along with a Team Nitto driver. There will also be a virtual reality experience presented by Driving Line where fans will be able to ride shotgun with two-time King of the Hammers champion Shannon Campbell in his Ultra4 buggy, as well as with Team Nitto drift drivers as they slide inches from each other’s doors. Tickets for Auto Enthusiast Day are available online at
