Mustang Week is one event that’s always on our calendar. With different events and venues over a week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, there’s something for every Mustang enthusiast when it comes to the big show. It has almost become a Mecca, of sorts, for Mustang fans across the country who look forward to the event each year.

Listen up; we’re here to tell you that Mustang Week will have different dates and locations. First off, Mustang Week will still take place in Myrtle Beach, but there will be a change in venue.

Our annual Battle at the Beach will most likely be held during the track day at Myrtle Beach Speedway. The Mustang Week staff is still working on the logistics as of this writing, but as soon as we know more, we’ll bring that news to you so you can plan accordingly.

Mustang Week officials were given the heads-up that the Myrtle Beach Mall would be undergoing reconstruction at the time of next year’s event. That left the crew looking for a different venue for Thursday’s Battle at the Beach, and the two main shows on Friday and Saturday, which were previously held at the mall. It sounds like our Battle at the Beach will be held at the Myrtle Beach Speedway, and the Friday and Saturday shows will be at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, the site of this year’s Meet and Greet. The convention center parking lot should afford more room than was possible at the mall, along with a more centralized location. There will also be indoor vendor areas, as well.

Also, Mustang Week 2017 will have different dates than what we’ve become accustomed to seeing. Instead of taking place in July, the 2017 event will be held September 4th through September 10th. Mustang Week organizers hope this date and venue change will give a little relief from the July heat, and increased parking to enable more people to show off their Mustang for the two main shows. Decreased hotel room rates due to it not being held during the summer months, was also a factor with the date change, as well. That should help everyone’s wallet.

So, there ya go, arrange your travel plans now and get ready for another successful Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach. As more details are handed out, we’ll bring them to you.
