Design Engineering, Inc. will be holding the company’s inaugural Cruise-In car show Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at the company’s Ohio headquarters located at 604 Moore Road, Avon Lake, Ohio, 44012. Design Engineering (DEI) is located three miles from Interstate 90. The cruise-in will begin at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 3 p.m. and is planned as a stop for the Cruisin’ Times Lucky 7 Road Show that will bring some of the area’s most exciting customs, street rods, muscle cars, and more to DEI’s facility.

Tom Miller, DEI’s V.P. of Marketing and Sales, says, “DEI is very excited to host this custom car show at our facility. In the past we enjoyed hosting a stop for race cars and drivers who were competing in the annual Tire Rack’s One Lap of America and invited the local community and media to visit the event at the DEI facility. That event was so successful that we wanted to develop more events that will allow DEI to share our passion with others.”

A 50/50 raffle will be held during the cruise-in to benefit the Friendship Animal Protective League in memory and deep respect for Ken Moore, a prior DEI employee who lost a tough battle with cancer in February 2016. The DEI Cruise-In will include music provided by Its Show Time D.J. services, and great barbeque with all the fixin’s will be available for purchase from Jones Bones BBQ on site. The fun will include raffles, and DEI T-shirts and hats will be for sale as well. A “scratch and dent” sale area will be open for show attendees to pick up some great bargains as well on DEI products.

A rain date has been set for Sunday, June 19th, 2016 in the event of inclement weather. Admission and parking is free for this public event.
