Cartoons was a magazine that touted “Automotive Humor for the Enthusiast,” and it had a rabid following back in the day, much as traditional comics like Batman and Spiderman have always enjoyed. While the TEN photo and magazine archives were moving to the Petersen Automotive Museum recently, archivist Thomas Voeringer came across this special Mustang-themed issue of Cartoons from February 1989. It is such a blast from the past that we thought Mustang Monthly readers might enjoy seeing it. This is only the cover, but check out the full magazine on and witness the hand-illustrated Mustang glory from such artists as George Trosley, Shawn Kerri, and Steve Austin.
