Heads-up drag racing, it’s not hard to tell who won when it’s the first car across the line that wins. The NMRA Competition Department is pleased to announce that the exciting Turbo Coyote Shootout will be featured at three huge events in the upcoming season.

The NMRA Turbo Coyote Shootout is designed for the some of the fastest late-model Fords on the planet! Turbocharged coyote-powered Mustangs are matched in a heads-up competition showcasing the incredible power of Ford's flagship platform.

Rollie Miller, NMRA’s national event director told us “We're thrilled to announce that the Turbo Coyote Shootout will be back in 2016 at three of our biggest events. Ford Performance built an awesome platform in the Coyote engine and it provides loads of excitement for our racers and our fans."

The first event will take place during the 22nd Annual Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout on March 3-6 at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida and is sponsored by Fluid Turbo Concepts of Florida.

The second venue is marked for the 16th Annual NMRA Ford Motorsport Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania on April 28-May 1 and sponsored by Justin’s Performance Center of Millersville, Maryland.

The third event will happen at the 18th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA All-Ford World Finals being held at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky on September 29-October 2, and sponsored by Henchman Racing.
