The difference between the quick and the dead is less than a split-second. If you’re a Terminator or GT500 racer or enthusiast, you don’t want to miss the following NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals events featuring the VMP Performance Terminator/GT500 Shootouts in three different states.

The season opener is the 22nd Annual Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout held in Bradenton Florida, taking place from March 3-6 followed by the 16th Annual NMRA Ford Motorsport Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania. Last, but not least is the 18th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA All-Ford World Finals at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky on September 29-October 2.

For 2016, the UPR Products Quick 8 will race for a separate purse, while the rest of the field races for the normal payouts. In addition, each Terminator/GT500 Shootout participant will receive a free entry into Saturday’s True Street class for even more chances to win (must fit True Street rules).

“These high-end, special-production Mustangs bring another level of racing to our events,” said National Event Director Rollie Miller. “With a separate purse for the UPR Products Quick 8 this year, we’re giving everyone a chance to race and compete.”

VMP Performance, one of the leading tuners, supercharger manufacturers and performance parts retailers in the U.S., put up the cash for the Terminator/GT500 class:

* $500 Win + Contingency + Custom Award
* $200 R/U + Contingency + Plaque
* $100 Semis
* $50 Quarters

New for 2016, the UPR Products Quick 8 will race for the following purse:

$500 Win + Contingency + Custom Award
$200 R/U + Contingency + Plaque
$75 Semis
