After completing their seventeenth season, the NMRA has already announced their schedule for 2016. The eighteenth running of the NMRA Ford Nationals brings a bit of a shakeup, as Maple Grove Raceway (Mohnton, Pennsylvania) and National Trail Raceway (Hebron, Ohio) both make a return to the NMRA schedule. "Moving to Maple Grove Raceway puts us back into the exciting Philadelphia and New Jersey markets, we haven't been there in a few years. We are looking forward to working with Lex Dudas and his staff, bringing back the Ford Motorsport Nationals to Maple Grove," said ProMedia National Event Director Rollie Miller. He continued, “National Trail Raceway presents an exciting opportunity for our NMRA brand. Like Maple Grove Raceway, NMRA has a storied history with this facility. The central location combined with the recent updates Mike Fornataro and his team have made to the facility make it an ideal location for NMRA.” Dates for the season’s events are very similar to the 2015 schedule, making planning an easy task for the year.
