If you’re into the drifting scene, then you’ll appreciate this. American Muscle is now sponsoring Pro-Am Drifter Chris Allen. Drifting a 2006 Turbocharged GT Mustang, Chris Allen has quickly risen through the Pro-Am ranks and is competing at the top of his class with the goal of breaking into the Professional Circuit.

Chris’ drift car is not your run of the mill 2006 Mustang GT; the body is a custom fiberglass 2012 body wrapped with an American Muscle livery featuring all of Chris’ sponsors. An added turbocharger supported by Bama Performance Tuning boosts the power to 406 horsepower and 412 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels, which is more than enough to create clouds of tire smoke in each drift.

Recently, Chris made a few adjustments to his setup to improve the foundation of his car. Chris added a set of SR Performance coilovers to dial in his suspension for consistent and predictable handling that will have him conquering each drift.

Chris, who was once a contestant on Ford’s Octane Academy, has been drifting for seven years, gaining the seat time he has needed to propel his drifting career. American Muscle is excited to see Chris Allen progress through the drifting circuit with his Mustang and will be supporting him every step of the way.
