It’s not surprising that the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang is selling really well like the original did in its first year. The strong customer demand for this hot new Mustang that is aimed at the global market is taking the nation by storm as is evident from Ford’s recent sales figures for June of this year. This strong consumer demand for the all-new Ford Mustang pushed the sales figures to 11,719 cars sold in the June of 2015, up 54 percent from June of 2014.

“Strong retail momentum continues building for our newest vehicles, including F-150, Mustang, Edge, and now Explorer,” said Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service. “The Ford brand’s average transaction prices have increased $2,700 versus a year ago, more than triple the industry average, while our incentives are down, showing how much customers value our investment in new vehicles with the latest technologies.”

The rise in sales represents Mustang’s best June performance since 2007 and that’s not surprising considering all the new technology that has gone into the S550 Mustang. On top of the sales growth nationwide, Mustang sales are particularly strong in America’s largest sports car region, Southern California, where retail sales are up 157 percent in June. That’s pretty impressive to say the least, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the sales continue to grow for the 2016 model year.
