The Shelby Heritage Center, part of the new Shelby American facility in Las Vegas where all the magic happens, including vehicle builds, events, and more, will now be open on Sundays, Carroll Shelby International Inc announced on May 29th, 2015. The Heritage Center, full of display vehicles, engines and more showing the history of Carroll Shelby and his role in automotive history, along with the Carroll Shelby Store, will now be open from 10-4 every Sunday. This means the facility will now be open seven days a week for visitors.

“We’re giving our fans the chance to experience Shelby every day of the week by opening our store and Heritage Center on Sundays,” said Neil Cummings, CEO of Carroll Shelby Licensing and co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International. “The Heritage Center and Carroll Shelby’s Store were designed to keep enthusiasts connected with the Shelby brand. Our fans are among the most loyal in the world and we want to give them the chance to enjoy the brand seven days a week.”

To commemorate the opening on Sunday and the extended open hours, Carroll Shelby’s Store will offer the first 100 shoppers who arrive on Sunday, May 31, June 7 and June 14 a free Shelby gift. In addition, for those visiting during the extended Sunday hours the store will provide free coffee and donuts to visitors from 10 am until noon.

“Carroll Shelby’s Store delivers a shopping experience that lives up to the Shelby brand,” said Ari Kopmar, Executive Vice President of Consumer Initiatives. “We developed a full line of merchandise that offers something for every Shelby enthusiast. We believe that by expanding the opening of the store to seven days a week, we’ll make the store more accessible for our Shelby fans to come and see us any day while they are visiting Las Vegas.”

The Heritage Center’s traditional hours of Monday through Saturday offer a guided tour of the center and its contents, including a peek at the build area where Shelby GT500s are turned into Super Snakes, continuation Cobras are built, and more. Plans are in place to offer a similar tour on Sunday in the near future as well for those that can only stop in on Sunday won’t miss out on the great tour and its historical Shelby information.
