The Bama Performance Team has released a brand new supercharger kit for the 2015 Mustang GT and have already tested the system on their record breaking 2015 GT. Using a front fed 2.9L Whipple Twin Screw Design, the Bama Supercharger Kit put down 687 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque to the rear tires.

The Bama Team then took their 2015 down to North Carolina for track testing at an eighth-mile track, where it went 6.37 at 114.8 mph. With those results, Bama expects a 9.70 to 9.80 pass in the quarter-mile, beating their previous nitrous record of 9.91.

The supercharger on Bama’s 2015 is the same one that will be available for sale in the near future through AmericanMuscle. The kit utilizes a 2.9L Whipple Twin Screw design and will include other necessary mods such as fuel injectors, spark plugs, boost-a- pump, etc.; Bama Performance will also offer full tuning support for these kits.

The Bama Performance Supercharger Kit is a complete turnkey package that has been extensively tested and brings together all of the parts needed to maximize performance, power, and reliability. Various kits will be available for different horsepower goals. Bama is also currently working on bringing this supercharger kit to 2005 – 2014 Mustang GTs and GT500s.
