Aeromotive X1 Series Regulator

We spend a lot of time figuring out ways to make more horsepower; be it through a heavily modified naturally aspirated combination or bolting on a power adder like nitrous or a supercharger – either way, in order to take advantage of the copious amount of air, we need additional fuel to make it all happen.

Seems easy enough, right? However, making those changes can also inflict additional damage to the bank by purchasing items that we already have. Take the fuel regulator for example. Regardless of the combination, from naturally aspirated to carbureted to EFI, all require different fuel pressure levels. The good new is, Aeromotive has just released their latest line of X1 Series Regulator – think of this as the one stop shop for all of your regulator needs. In other words, it’ll grow as your combination changes or horsepower levels increase.

The X1 Series Regulator can be had for less than $200 and you have the option of purchasing three different conversion kits to fit your needs. We don’t have a final price on the conversion kits, but we expect it to be around the $50 range. The X1 regulator comes with three AN-8 ports, namely the inlet, outlet, and return. It also features a 1/8-inch NPT gauge port and a 1:1 boost reference port.

It’s fairly obvious why we like the new Aeromotive regulator, but you don’t have to just take our word for it; the X1 Series Regulator took runner up for Engineered New Product.
